David joined the family firm following the retirement of his father in 1974. Since then, along with fellow directors Murray & Ian, they have successfully grown the firm maintaining its excellent reputation for professional but traditional service and values. David enjoys providing appraisal and marketing advice on a wide range of properties, in particular those at the higher end of the market. Well known locally, David is a keen sportsman in his spare time and, in the past, has played for the Kent County Golf Union, the Mote Cricket Club, and Sutton Valance Hockey Team. He is also a Governor of Sutton Valence School.
Murray has spent his long career working in property gaining experience in Residential, Agricultural and Commercial fields. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and a member of the professional body governing lettings agents, ARLA. Murray joined Page and Wells in 1979, being made a partner shortly thereafter. He has specific responsibility for company finances, for valuations, and for managing the Lettings Team. Murray is pleased that Page and Wells have maintained their independence as a family run business with a well-earned reputation for excellent customer service. When not at work Murray enjoys playing golf, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.
Ian has been a director at Page and Wells since the 1970s and along with David and Murray has helped steer the firm through the ups and downs of the property market over several decades. He has a wealth of experience in the housing market, particularly in the suburbs and villages to the East of Maidstone. He is proud that Page and Wells is a thriving, local, independent agent run and staffed by people who really know their business. When not working Ian loves to play golf and tennis and is also a keen skier. He also loves to spend time with his family and travel.
Martin has been at Page and Wells since the early 1980s and has overall responsibility in Land and New Homes. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the fields of residential development and the marketing of New Homes as well as having a sound knowledge of local planning regulations and requirements. Martin is keen that Page and Wells builds on its superb reputation to be the best. Having spent many years in Bearsted Round Table, at one time being Chairman and then Honorary President, Martin has suspended his charity fund raising years in favour of relaxation by walking and cycling in the surrounding beautiful local countryside.
Duncan joined Page and Wells, the family firm, in 2005. Locally born and bred, he has an enviable knowledge about the local area and housing market. Duncan is proud of Page and Wells’ superb reputation for reliability and service. He enjoys the challenge of growing the business and taking it into the 21st century and in particular his responsibility for developing the firm’s IT services and its Social Media presence. Duncan also runs the Loose branch office and is responsible for staff training. Away from the office, he loves to spend time with his family, whilst as a keen sportsman also pursues his love of playing rugby for Cranbrook, golf and skiing.
